The Pictou County Active Transportation Committee, with the support of Active Pictou County, is excited to offer 10 grants of up to $100 to community organizations and schools who want to organize an event during Bike Week 2015. The event must celebrate, promote, or educate others on the benefits of biking and be held between June 5 -14, 2015.
“We are always looking for new ideas to make Pictou County Bike Week 2015 better than ever and we hope that the community will take this opportunity to make their ideas a reality,” explains Active Pictou County Coordinator, Rae Gunn.

Hurry up and enter your ideas online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BikeWeekGrant2015 because the deadline for applications is April 27th at noon. Successful applicants will be notified by May 1st and must agree to submit a brief report after their event to the committee.
